Enjoying weekend off in the sun today, cos next week we have Santa's arrival at the garden centre I work at  ohmy

I copped for it last year as well   Roll Eyes Half an hour before he was due to arrive we had 300ish people waiting at the front, the queue to see the big man was over an hour for most of the day and I got stuck on grotto duties for about 6 hours  mad How many conversations about Ben 10 and Upsy Daisy can a girl take  blink

If I appear on the forum next weekend talking total gibber (so what's new  Wink ) please be very kind to me, use short words and speak slowly  laugh  laugh  laugh

Weekend off in the sun? You want to come to Birmingham! It most certainly is not sunny here!!!
Santa is definitely on his way. My local 'everything' shop has started selling tinsel and Christmas wrapping paper.  wacko

Mercifully we don't have to dress up  Cool

Last year we took to amusing the queue by getting the kids to do party tricks. We were doing great with singing, dancing and impressions of Sporticus - I never realised star jumps were infectious for kids  wacko

Then 1 little ratbag announced his party turn was to do a really loud burp - and boy he wasn't kidding  ohmy

They are very old (bad) jokes re-cycled from the 60's, or even earlier.

You know - the days when Radio 4 was the Gnome Service.
