Any reccomendations for comfrey suppliers?

I just used the local comfrey "weeds" from the roadside planted it up in a bed and have found it an excellent feed and composter, and its free  biggrin   

Have a look around and save yourself some money , if you have none in you,re area PM me and Ill send some to you

The advantage of buying Comfrey rather than digging it up is that you should be able to get a sterile strain that won't seed all over the place, otherwise dig dig dig

Comfrey is wonderful stuff but make sure you plant it where you won't want to move it ever again. It has an incredibly long tap root and, like a dandelion, if you dig it out and leave a small piece IT WILL GROW! A friend gave me some dead looking bits of root and they all grew. ohmy

very true! When I took on my plot 8 years ago, I strimmed the lot flat and within 2 weeks I was knee high in a field of comfry! I've been digging it out ever since! The bonus is that I am never short of liquid feed smile
