pls can somone tell me how old chicks can be before you seperate them from mum?

My mother hens decided themselves when it was time. The first had had enough at 6 weeks and the second at 8 weeks.

hi,

yes in my experience the mums start to loose interest from 5 weeks and are even overly agressive so you have to seperate them.
