My mother who now hasnt bought an egg for ..........ooooh let me see how long have I had my chooks  dared to complain today.

Apparently, when she's baking, she has a little tupperware egg seperating thingy which you break the egg into and the white drains away from the yolk which is caught in the spoon part (does this make ANY sense?)

Well,    apparently my eggs are very nice (Im so glad mother) but the egg white isnt runny enough to drain away from the yolk  nowink  ohmy

I manage to separate whites by just using the half shells.  You tip the yolk back and to from one to the other, and the white runs off.

My fresh whites are very liquid?

I took some eggs into work for someone this spring and she moaned to everyone else they were difficult to cook with as they were all odd sizes, shapes and colours (bit like my chooks then  Roll Eyes )

Needless to say that was the last time I bothered offering her any eggs  Tongue
