I sometimes think it would be nice to live somewhere else, but then you think of a place and they have hurricanes, or earthquakes, or monsoons, or volcanos, or nasty poisonous spiders or well below zeo temperatures or something, and then I think perhaps I can survive the rain!!!!

so I think I'll probably stay here!

Agree with GrannieAnnie's caveats that surround all the 'somewhere else' ideas.  Mind you,  'somewhen else' instead is a different kettle of fish - reckon about 1983 would suit me just dandy.

Why particularly,1983?
I got married for the first time - it wasn't an especially memorable year!! Roll Eyes

Why particularly,1983?

Settled into current house.
Elder son was accepted into school of choice.
The Appointer (RN) sent me somewhere that was to my entire satisfaction. And how.
Most importantly - I was still ineligible for Phyllosan!

(On the down side, I was still a smoker in those days)
