Obviously soooo stupid that nobody else bothered to try it Sad

It's a plum tomato! It doesn't have a mega wow taste, but it more than makes up for it in the how much body it gives to sauces!
I find if i mix it with a few good tasting tomatoes and the usual garlic and strong olive oil, it makes an absolutely brilliant thick sauce smile I've bottled loads this year biggrin

So it looks like i'll have to buy seeds for next year Sad....never mind...it is worth it smile

I've some seeds of them kept, and some millefleur as well as some dwarf beans and runners and maybe a few others (I'll see when I get home)
I'm after anything unusual really.

Charlie
BTW purple Ukraine a big ugly plants with ugly purple-brown fruit but with fantastic taste, I have found they have different tastes depending on the colour (purple-green or dark purple-brown) you let then go before picking, the first firm and sharp, the second very sweet. Millefleur are fantastic; sprays of hundreds of cherry-sized yellow toms. Very pretty plants in pots and tasty too.
